HolidayLets
HolidayLets (www.holidaylets.net) is an online vacation/holiday rental business, enabling owners of holiday properties to advertise them on the site in exchange for a listing fee. At the time of the sale, the site was one of the largest independent vacation rentals businesses and had more than 9,000 listings.
In November 2007, StellantPartners, advised the shareholders of HolidayLets on the sale of the entire share capital in the business for an undisclosed sum. The acquirer was Homelidays SA (www.homelidays.co.uk or www.homelidays.com), the European specialist in private holiday home rentals (37,000 listings in 100 countries).
eRevMax,Inc. / Rate Tiger
eRevMax develops and operates e-support products and services that help hotel organizations understand, control and maximize their revenue by unifying complex industry solutions to simple user friendly standards.
StellantPartners provides eRevMax, Inc. with strategic advice on corporate structure and controlling.
Travel Library
Travel Library (www.travel-library.com) is an online travel information and hotel review site. The site provides direct contact details of hotels and allows users to review those hotels. In addition, owners of second/holiday homes are able to promote their properties on the site.
In August 2006, StellantPartners advised the shareholders of Travel Library (www.travel-library.com) in connection with the sale of the business to Tripadvisor LLC.
Alpharooms
Alpharooms.com has over 23,000 hotels available and is one of the UK's leading websites for discount hotels and apartments worldwide. It offers some of the best deals for holiday accommodation and city hotels available on the Internet.
StellantPartners provided Alpharooms with strategic and operational advice.
Cheapflights Ltd.
Founded in 1996, and profitable since launch, Cheapflights is the UK's leading price comparison website. It pioneered the travel price comparison model in the UK and also introduced pay-per-click in 2000. In 2003, the company launched www.cheapflights.com in the US.
In 2006, Stellant handled the disposal process for all the non-flight interests of Cheapflights, including CheapAccommodation, CheapShortBreaks and CheapHolidayDeals. These businesses were ultimately sold to Internet Business Group PLC
WorldRes Group
WorldRes is a privately-held online hotel distribution company with the concept dating back to 1995. The company's prime focus is to offer independent, group and chain hotels access to the online distribution market place.
Jo Allen and Sascha Hausmann jointly worked on the sale of the WorldRes Group to the Irish based Web Reservations International. After the transaction was completed StellantPartners advised WorldRes on various aspects of the business
PlacesToStay
PlacesToStay was one of the first websites set up to sell accommodation to consumers. It quickly established itself as a major player in the market and focused specifically on providing independent, unbranded hotels with a platform to sell their inventory.
Jo Allen completed the sale of PlacesToStay, on behalf of WorldRes, to CnG plc. She handled the full sales process including identifying the possible buyers, marketing the business to those buyers, running the data room and negotiating the contract.
Howzat media LLP
In November 2006, StellantPartners entered into a very exciting relationship with Howzat Media LLP to provide this new investment fund with outsourced M&A advice and to run the internal administration, accounting and corporate activities. Howzat Media LLP is led by Hugo Burge and David Soskin, both highly recognised and experienced participants in the travel industry, and has been established to invest in young fast growing companies in the online media space.
Hotelverband Deutschland (IHA)
The Hotelverband Deutschland (IHA) is the industry association for German hotels on federal level. It currently serves around 1000 hotels in the middle and upper market segment being members of the privat, cooperaation or chain sector. The association represents members interests in political and public affairs in Berlin and Brussels and exclusively offers its members professional and specialized services.
StellantPartners provides IHA with consulting services in relation to online distribution and internet reservation transactions. Recently, Stellant also assisted IHA in developing a training course as a support for participants in dealing with today's online distribution strategies.
BeachGroup, LLC
BeachGroup is an online and offline reservation platform for beach resorts, especially condominiums, along the Gulf Coast of the United States of America.
StellantPartners advised the shareholders of BeachGroup in the sale of the business, a transaction which was completed in June 2006.
Wellness-Hotels-Deutschland GmbH
W-H-D is a representation group for Spa-Hotels in Germany. The group’s emphasis lies in quality assurance and has successfully implemented programs that ensure high standards within the group. All hotels are currently located in Germany and spread throughout the country. W-H-D’s quality standards have recently been used by the hotel associations in Germany to set up their own rating and assurance program.
StellantPartners supported the W-H-D group in choosing a central reservation system that allows booking of hotel rooms, spa treatments and packages.
danet Group
The danet Group offers a wide variety of services for innovative companies that need high performance IT Partners, ranging from classical consulting and development of innovative solutions to flexible Service Delivery concepts.
StellantPartners supported the danet Group in the evaluation of several content and reservation services in the travel sector for usage in the project “C-on-time”.
SanDus Group
SanDus Group used to operate an online reservation platform before the business assets were sold to another online reservation platform.
StellantPartners was retained by SanDus to close all remaining operations and subsidiaries in the US and Europe.
